2019 - Navigational Chart Series

Since September 2019, I began a series of collaged paintings 52” x 54”, navigational charts, acrylic paint and found needlework.

My first job in NYC was selling and preparing Navigational Charts in lieu of a fixture fee for my loft.

I choose charts of places I love. New York City, Long Island, The Hudson River, Cape Cod, Block Island and the Delaware River, to name a few.

I continue to organize space by connecting the private to the public. The Navigational Chart Series responds to the tidal rhythm of comings and goings mirroring journeys both real and imagined.

Navigational Charts, reference  climate change, social turmoil, pollution, rising seas, garbage and political unrest.
